You Can Be a Published Children’s Author in Just 6 Weeks!

Have you always dreamed of being a children’s author?

Seeing your name in print on the cover of a book, and sharing it with excited kids around the world. Kids hungry for the adventure and imagination that YOUR stories provide…

Just imagine answering the question, “So, what do you do?” with, “I’m a published children’s author!”…

Having your kids or grandkids beg you to read YOUR book to them…

Making money, real money every month doing something you love.

Self-Publish a Children's BookIt may seem like an impossible dream, or something that only happens to other people. I know this too well because I was once in your shoes. But I assure you, it is not an impossible dream, and I am living proof of that.

For the first time in history, becoming a published children’s author is not only possible, it’s a sure thing if you follow just 6 simple steps.

That’s right. With the rise of self-publishing and the incredible variety of tools and resources available to children’s authors these days, anyone (including you) can have a book created and up for sale in a matter of weeks!

Until very recently, the “gatekeepers” of children’s publishing (agents & publishers) had absolute power over who was deemed “worthy” as a children’s author and who wasn’t. The crazy thing is that they didn’t necessarily pick authors or books based on talent—they picked books based purely on what they (not the actual readers) thought would sell. This left a lot of talented authors, with great stories to tell, out in the cold.

Even worse, many aspiring authors became so intimidated by the idea of getting rejected by publishers that they never really got started at all. Are you one of them?

Maybe you’ve already got some books written, stashed away in your desk or computer, that never got published for one reason or another. Or maybe you’ve just had some ideas bouncing around in your head for years, but never knew how to turn them into a real book and get them up for sale for others to enjoy.

Either way, it’s time to take matters into your own hands and finally achieve your dream of becoming a children’s author! Keep reading to find out how.

But first, a little story to prove that it’s really possible…

My name’s Beau Blackwell, and like so many people out there, I’d always dreamed of writing a children’s book, getting it published, and selling it all over the world. But the thought of getting rejected by agents and publishers, or having to figure out how to publish and market my own books, made it seem like that dream would never come true.

Well I’m happy to report that last year, I accomplished that dream—not once, but FOUR TIMES! And I’d love to help you accomplish that dream too.

When I wrote my first children’s book, I had all of the same questions you probably have: how to work with an illustrator, what putting a book together costs, how long it takes, what to charge for your book, how to market your book, how to format your book for Kindle or print—all of the pieces that go into making your book a reality.

I spent months figuring out the answers to all of those questions, and making a lot of mistakes that I can help you avoid!

After talking with lots of aspiring authors who wanted to create and publish their own children’s book but didn’t know where to start, I put everything I’ve learned about making and selling children’s books into an online training course called “6 Weeks to Your First Children’s Book.”

It’s designed to help YOU become a published children’s author, and to make the process as fun, fulfilling, and profitable as possible—guaranteed.

There are other children’s book courses out there that cost over $400 and only teach you the process of writing and submitting to traditional publishers, with no guarantee that your book will ever see the light of day! I don’t even see the point in that – why gamble $400 of your hard-earned money?

With my course, there is no gamble. It’s $99, and I guarantee that if you follow the simple steps, you will be joining the ranks of published authors, period.

With 6 Weeks to Your First Children’s Book, if you follow the steps, you’ll be 100% guaranteed to have a book for sale on Amazon. And once your book starts making sales, the course will pay for itself in no time.

P.S. Yes, it’s true. You really can write and publish your first children’s book in just 6 weeks. My step-by-step system walks you through the entire process, carefully guiding you past every obstacle and pitfall that derails most writers. You’re getting everything you need to go from concept to release party in 6 weeks. I did it and so can you – guaranteed.

P.P.S. – You may be wondering if you can figure all of this stuff out on your own. The answer is: maybe. There’s surprisingly little help out there for self-published children’s book authors when it comes to the real nitty gritty of how to actually build and sell a book – like formatting and marketing, for example – and you’ll run across a lot of conflicting info, most of it from people who aren’t actually successful authors themselves! I made sense of it – eventually – by putting in dozens of hours of work, by making a lot of false starts, by wasting quite a bit of money on illustrators who didn’t work out, and by missing a LOT of sales of my Christmas-themed book due to being a little late to market.

Don’t make those mistakes, or deal with that frustration, hassle and uncertainty – invest in my program, and you’ll be up and running as a children’s picture book author in as little as 6 weeks – GUARANTEED!

If you’re looking to get into publishing children’s books but not sure exactly how to get started, then 6 Weeks to Your First Children’s Book is the best course available on the market right now.

Not only do you get all the details you need to create a children’s book, you also get the step-by-step blueprint you need to launch and market your book as well, ensuring its success.

I highly recommend it for any aspiring children’s book author!

Writing and publishing a children’s book has been on my bucket list for years. With Beau’s help, I had not only the confidence to get it done, but the support of his amazing videos that made my dream become a reality very quickly. There is no way I could have figured this out on my own, and for helping me cross that item off my list I am very grateful!

Lisa Rickman, Author of Paisley Eats Her Greens

I’ve just finished Beau Blackwell’s “6 Weeks to Your First Children’s Book” and I am filled with energy and enthusiasm!

There’s only one thing I regret… I wish I had taken part in this course before I published my first children’s book, but then again – now I’m better equipped for my next one.

With Beau as your guide you will feel completely relaxed when it comes to publishing your first book. I’m totally convinced he will assist many people in realizing their long-held dreams!

Kicki Pallin Serby, Author of The Tale of East

In October 2014 I enrolled in Beau’s course. One never quite knows what to expect from these online courses… I’ve paid $2500 for some that failed to deliver the promised outcome, despite my every effort to engage fully. I can’t believe how inexpensive Beau’s course is – SERIOUSLY! Well, in November 2014 my first kids’ book went live… AND I’M TOTALLY THRILLED! For somebody who isn’t all that tech savvy, I was a little concerned about being able to understand all the jargon. Don’t fear – Beau steps you through every single milestone along the way, and is there to hold your hand with great videos, additional recourse, and thorough email support. So, if you’re sitting on the fence as to whether you’d like to make the investment, save yourself a whack-load of heartache, and thumb-twiddling, and enroll in the 6 week course. Beau, you rock, mate!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What other costs are there besides the course?

A: Unless you plan to illustrate the book yourself, you’ll need to pay an illustrator. What this costs depends on how many illustrations you want and how much the illustrator charges, but this doesn’t need to be expensive. In fact, in the course you’ll see how I post a job seeking an illustrator and get dozens of candidates for around $10 per illustration!

There are no other costs outside of illustration; I show you how to do everything yourself with free tools and marketing strategies. The only other thing you might want to spend money on is buying copies of your book to give away!

Q: Where will my book be sold?

A: I teach how to sell on Amazon, both in Kindle format and in print. This is because Amazon currently holds around 70% of the eBook market. However, it is very easy to put your book on other online platforms like Nook or Kobo, although there are some good reasons not to (which I share in the course).

Customers will be able to buy your Kindle book or print book directly on Amazon, just like traditionally published authors. You just get to keep a LOT more of the money!

Q: How much time does it take to do this? I'm really busy.

A: I’ve got two small kids, so I totally understand! The good news is that creating your book doesn’t take a lot of time.

Obviously you can spend as much or as little time writing it as you want, but realistically you only need to spend a couple of hours each week doing things like working with the illustrator, doing the formatting stuff (which is relatively quick and a one-time thing), and doing some basic, painless marketing once it’s live.

If you’re anything like me, you’ll be so excited to see your book taking shape and becoming a reality that you won’t mind the little bit of extra time you put into it each week!

Q: What if I'm still not sure I can do this?

I’ve designed the course to be easy to follow, but if you’d like more direct, personalized help from me, I offer a “VIP Access” version of the program. It includes all of the regular training, but includes unlimited, quick response access to me, plus 4 1-hour phone calls you can use whenever you need them to help you get your book done.

These calls and emails can be about whatever you want: brainstorming or vetting ideas, helping you solve formatting issues, picking an illustrator, or how to market your book once it’s live. I will personally hold your hand through the whole process and make sure you get your book done no matter what!

The cost of this VIP version is just $295, but I can only handle a few people at this level of service so the price may go up at any time. Click here to sign up for VIP access and I’ll contact you once you’re signed up to welcome you to the program and get you going!

Q: Is 6 weeks really enough to get a book done?

A: Absolutely! Illustrators can work very fast if you know how to properly motivate them and communicate with them (all of this is taught in the course).

My personal record is taking a book from idea to completion in 10 days! And it’s still my all-time bestseller. Check out the details here. I wouldn’t recommend doing it quite that fast as it was a little stressful, but since my first book all of my others have taken less than a month.

Once you get the hang of the process I teach, you’ll be able to get books done quickly and consistently.

Q: Do I need to have a book written already?

A: Nope! The first couple of weeks are focused on brainstorming ideas for books and then writing them in a way that sets them up for success.

If you already have a book written it’ll speed up the process significantly since you can jump straight to hiring an illustrator, but you can still get everything done in 6 weeks even if you don’t have a story in mind yet.

Q: I'm not good with computers. Can I still do this?

A: Yes you can. I know technology is a big hurdle for a lot of people, so I’ve made videos demonstrating exactly how to use all of the tools and resources I recommend in the course. They walk you through step by step, so you don’t have to figure it all out yourself.

You can also ask questions if there’s anything you need help with and I’ll be happy to answer! I promise I won’t let you get stopped by a computer 🙂

Q: I still have questions. Can I contact you?

A: Of course! Just send an email to and I’ll get right back to you with an answer.
